DESCRIPTION:The Downtown Raleigh Alliance and the City of Raleigh have partnered to bring a new farmers market to Downtown Raleigh in the newly renovated Moore Square Park. The Moore Square Market is held each Wednesday from 4 pm-7 pm through October 16\, 2019. The Market will feature over 20 vendors along with entertainment\, educational programming\, and special events. \nThe NC Composting Council will be one of nearly 40 vendors at the Market on October 16th where will will be teaching about composting food waste and how to use compost.  Visitors to our tent can make a Wildflower Seedball using compost that they can take home. \n
