The first Sustainable Spirits of 2022 will be Thursday evening, February 17th from 6 - 8pm at The Optimist, 1000 Brookside Drive in Raleigh.  This venue is a spacious coffee shop that also serves beer and wine.  They'll be open just for us with both indoor and outdoor seating. Our next Sustainable Spirits gathering will be held at Bull City Burgers in the patio tent.  We'll meet on March 17th - yes, that's St Patrick's Day and it's appropriate because we are totally GREEN!  Sustainable Spirits is free and open to the public.  It's meant to be a space where like-minded people can get together for open and respectful discourse about environmental issues, practices and projects.  We hope you'll join the conversation.

Our Second Annual Spring Plant Swap will take place on April 21st.  This gathering features our usual great group of people and engaging conversations about everything sustainable, and this month you can bring your garden extras to exchange for something wonderful from someone else's garden.  Anything having to do with plants and gardening is welcome from seeds to compost and even gardening books or empty pots.  If you don't have anything to contribute, please come and take things home!  …
