Join us in celebrating our accomplishments over the previous year, hear about our exciting plans for the year ahead, and learn how you can become engaged and involved. The day includes a morning of information sharing followed by lunch.

Welcome & 2017 NCCC Overview
Frank Franciosi – US Composting Council, Current Status –
Frank will present an overview of the USCC strategic plan and the focus areas for 2018.
Rachel Kipar – Henderson County Food Collection Program –
Rachel will present a chronological review of Henderson County’s planning and incorporation of organics management into their overall waste diversion and sustainability strategies. Most projects involve a number of community partnerships, which are integral to accomplishing program goals. She will highlight on-going projects and present future plans for continued sustainability efforts.
