Welcome to our first event in the coast! We have been hosting these types of events in the Triangle area since June 2013 and are now bringing it to the coast. Sustainable Spirits is a casual monthly gathering for the sustainability community organized by the non-profit North Carolina Composting Council. We have held over 15 events in over a dozen venues and brought together over 800 sustainability professionals and students. It rotates through different establishments creating a space for people to gather, meet each other, and engage in fun and meaningful conversations. It’s free, casual, and open to everyone interested in anything from renewable energy and civic engagement to green building, organic farming, and beyond! The first event in the coast will be happening this coming Tuesday, October 21 at Kickback Jack’s in Wilmington from 5:30pm to 7:00pm.
