Dr. Carlos Goller teaches in the Biotechnology Program at NC State University. Since 2012, Carlos has developed courses using sequencing technologies to explore microbial communities in environmental… and household samples. Carlos loves collaborations with other classes at NC State and beyond to connect students, technologies, and datasets. By working with undergraduate researchers in the Engineering Sustainable Composting and Outreach Program: (e)SCoOP directed by Dr. Qaqish, Carlos learns about new ways to leverage portable genome sequencing technologies.
