Join the North Carolina Composting Council’s May Sustainable Spirits gathering in Boone, at the Cardinal, for our first high country gathering! Sustainable Spirits are professional-networking socials rotating around the state for people who share the NC Composting Council’s environmental commitment to composting and waste reduction. At this event we’re also proud to showcase and connect with one of NCCC’s 2025 grant recipients, App State Sustainability! In addition to upgrading a food-scrap drop spot on campus, they are also forming a High-Country Regional Waste Committee as part of the grant-project!
The event is free to attend, but please rsvp in advance so we can plan an appropriate amount of food.
