Let’s Talk about the state compost in the state of NC
Join Christine Wittmeier, NC DEQ’s Organics Recycling Specialist, to learn about food recovery and compost initiatives the state is working on including the 2022 Organics Recycling Study, Food Waste Reduction grant, Use the Food NC campaign, State Agency pilots and schools waste reduction. Christine will also discuss how NC DEQ is involved with federal funding opportunities and national networks.
