Sustainable Spirits
Sustainable Spirits is a casual monthly gathering for the sustainability community organized by the North Carolina Composting Council. We're kicking off the new year by hosting and sponsoring this event ourselves. The NC Composting Council's mission is to promote composting and the use of compost and to educate people about the science of composting and its benefits. NCCC Board Meeting – In Wilmington!
Our February 5th NCCC Board Meeting will be held from 10am-1pm at the New Hanover County Environmental Management's office (3002 US Highway 421 North) with lunch and tour of their in-vessel composting unit, Huckleberry. Moore’s Square Market
The Downtown Raleigh Alliance and the City of Raleigh have partnered to bring a new farmers market to Downtown Raleigh in the newly renovated Moore Square Park. The Moore Square Market is held each Wednesday from 4 pm-7 pm through October 16, 2019. The Market will feature over 20 vendors along with entertainment, educational programming, and special events.
